As a private nonprofit organization, Family Bridges depends on the support of its members, its donors, foundations, and corporate partners to provide needed support for vulnerable community members. Family Bridges has a number of ways you can help.

General Support
Your contributions provide support for Family Bridges’ programs.

Donating by Check
The most common way to donate is by check. A check can be made payable to Family Bridges, Inc. You can mail your donation to:

Donating by Credit Card
If you are interested in making a donation by credit care, please call
(510) 839-2022 and ask for the Development Department. We can accept Visa or Mastercard.

In-Kind Donations
Donate your time, professional services or products.

Employers Providing Matching Gifts
Many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees. Check with your personnel office about your company’s program. If your company does not have a matching gift program, Family Bridges can assist you in encouraging your employer to start one.

Charitable Gifts Annuities
Give to Family Bridges through a Charitable Gift Annuity. By contributing cash or securities, you may receive fixed payments for life as well as considerable tax benefits.

Family Empowerment Endowment Fund
Join our Founders’ Circle by contributing to Family Bridges’ Endowment Fund.

Planned Giving
Include Family Bridges in your will by specifying a fixed amount of cash or value of a particular asset, a certain percentage of your estate, or balance of your estate after other bequests have been made.
