is located in Oakland Chinatown and offers a safe and welcoming environment
for seniors to strengthen their social networks, engage in stimulating
activities and increase their capacity to live independently. We

Staff members are bilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin, or English; bilingual
volunteers speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and English.
Hong Lok

lives as they grow older. Our objectives are:
- To promote socialization and community involvement, and enhance independence
- To encourage healthy lifestyles and support lifelong learning
- To facilitate social interaction and participation in activities for
socially-isolated seniors
- To offer a comprehensive program of activities and services that meet
the needs and interests of the seniors
