Registry Services is a county-administered program that pays homecare
workers to do household tasks and personal care tasks to help low-income
seniors and persons with disabilities maintain their independence and
continue living safely in their homes.
What do the Registry sites do for consumers?
The Registry sites assist in finding and hiring screened homecare workers
for consumers once In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) eligibility has
been established.
Where can I get the IHSS application?
You can get the IHSS application in one of three ways:
- You can download the application from www.alamedasocialservices.org.

- Or you can visit the IHSS office at Eastmont Town Center at 6995 Foothill
Blvd., Suite 300, Oakland, CA 94605.
Why should I come to Registry Services at Family Bridges?
The Registry at Family Bridges specializes in providing services for limited-English
proficient consumers and homecare workers, particularly in Cantonese,
Mandarin, and Toishanese. For speakers of other languages, we use on-demand,
telephonic interpretation services.
